Golf, music, and tech are about to collide in one of the coolest ways imaginable. Dryvebox, the mobile golf simulator company that’s been redefining how and where people play the game, just announced BOXWORLD — the world’s first-ever golf and music festival.
Set for October 24, 2025, at San Francisco’s legendary Ferry Building, BOXWORLD isn’t your typical golf event. Think less “quiet on the tee” and more “festival energy meets swing practice.” The daylong event will blend live music, immersive sim golf competitions, good food, and a crowd full of golf-meets-culture energy — something the sport has been craving for a while.
Golf Meets Culture — And a Party Breaks Out
At its core, BOXWORLD is designed to be a celebration of everything modern golf stands for right now — technology, community, and a laid-back love of the game. Seven state-of-the-art Dryveboxes will be lined up along the waterfront, each one offering a fully immersive simulator experience where players can take on iconic courses, compete for prizes, or just have fun swinging between DJ sets.
And speaking of DJs — the lineup is stacked. Expect live sets from Jayceeoh, DJ Franzen, Noodles, J Espinosa, Blesst, and Omar Woods, creating a soundtrack that keeps the vibe high all day long. Add in local food trucks, drinks, contests, and giveaways, and you’ve got the makings of a golf festival that feels more Coachella than country club.
“This is more than just an event — it’s the next step in our mission of cultivating golf everywhere. By pairing our cutting-edge golf experiences with music and culture, we’re opening the game up in a way that’s never been done before," shared Adeel Yang, Dryvebox CEO.
It’s a smart move. Golf has seen a massive surge in nontraditional formats lately — from simulator leagues to golf-themed entertainment venues — and BOXWORLD looks to be the next evolution of that movement.
In Partnership with TGL’s West Coast Teams
Adding to the buzz, Dryvebox announced partnerships with two teams from the upcoming TGL League presented by SoFi — The Bay Golf Club and Los Angeles Golf Club. These teams will have an official presence at BOXWORLD, bringing branded fan experiences, interactive challenges, and contests designed to connect fans with the new era of tech-fueled golf.
It’s another strong link between Dryvebox’s mobile golf vision and the TGL’s high-tech, primetime team format, which is set to debut in 2025. Both share a common goal: merging digital innovation with live fan energy to make golf more social and accessible.
A New Kind of Golf Festival
While BOXWORLD’s first stop is San Francisco, the company has hinted that this is only the beginning. Future events are already being discussed for other major cities, giving golfers and non-golfers alike the chance to experience what happens when competition, culture, and technology come together.
The inaugural event will have limited tickets to maintain an intimate, high-energy feel — a smart move for a pilot launch that blends tech, entertainment, and lifestyle all in one space.
For anyone who’s ever wanted to experience golf in a whole new way — surrounded by music, friends, and some seriously advanced simulator tech — BOXWORLD looks like it’s about to set the new standard for what a golf event can be.
