The golf industry rolled into Frisco, Texas this week—and those who opted out of this one definitely missing something special.

Over 150 golf and lifestyle brands packed into the Omni PGA Frisco Resort and PGA District from July 29th through 31st for what’s quickly becoming one of the most important meetups on the industry calendar: the PGA Buying Summit.

This wasn’t your typical trade show vibe. Sure, there were buyer meetings and product previews by day, but the real magic happened when the sun went down—night golf events, rooftop hangs, and one-of-a-kind networking experiences unfolded across the PGA Frisco campus, giving this business summit a legit pulse.

From Boardroom to Tee Box

If there’s a better place for mid-season brand resets, product launches, and face-to-face feedback than Frisco’s 660-acre golf Disneyland, we haven’t seen it. The Fields Ranch courses, Monument Realty PGA District, and the PGA Coaching and Development Centers served as a playground for industry pros to talk shop, test gear, and get inspired.

You had golf directors, resort buyers, off-course retailers, and PGA pros all under one sky, walking from meetings straight to short-game contests, launch monitor demos, and fireside chats about growing the game.

It was the kind of event where a buyer could test a new line of polos, compare GPS watches, get a firsthand look at eco-conscious gear—and then spend the evening hitting wedges under stadium lights with the people who built the product.

Why It Matters

This wasn’t about hype—it was about momentum. The golf business has been moving fast since 2020, and this summit gives brands and buyers a critical checkpoint to course-correct, partner up, and prep for the back half of the year.

More importantly, it reminded everyone that golf is still best done in person—where the gear can be swung, the fit can be felt, and the conversations are real.

If you're in the golf business and you're not carving out space for the annual buying summit, you might want to start rethinking your calendar for 2026!
